5- L’utilisation d’une Colle Chirurgicale en Chirurgie Laparoscopique

The aim of our study is to determine the advantages and the indications of biological glues in pediatric laparoscopic surgery. At the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the “Federico JI” University of Naples, a new· chemical glue (Glubran*) was used in 21 patients between March 1996 and March 1997. ln 13 cases we used it to complete hemostasis in liver excisional biopsie5. In 5 infants with congenital inguinal hernia, the glue was used to achieve closure of vaginoperitoneal canal. In the last three patients, the glue was used as follows: in one case 10 secure airtightness in Jung biopsy. in another case to repair a rupture in the esogastric mucosa during a Heller cardiomyotomy and in the last case, to achieve hemostasis of the hepatic bed of the gallbladder after cholecys1ec1omy. In all cases, the glue was injected with the needle positioned transparietally. The procedure was always quick and straightforward. There were no problems linked to toxicity or allergy to the product. In our opinion.
